Chairman - 1st place

Valtýr Ferrel

Medical studies

Who are you and what are the main issues you focus on within your School?

Im Valtýr Ferrel and i am studying medical studies. Within the school of health science I want to put more emphasis on promoting the student union in order to engage more students across the faculty. Feedback and complaints regarding student's lives and studies need a clear channel, and there be a transparent process in place to ensure meaningful improvements.

2nd place

Vera Mist Magnúsdóttir

Psychology

Who are you and what are the main issues you focus on within your School?

My name is Vera and I chose to run for Röskva because I believe Röskva truly fights for students' interests and equal access to education for all. This year, the focus within the School of Humanities is largely on ensuring quality in teaching — for example, transparency and professionalism in feedback, lecture recordings, and equal access to both remote and on-site learning.

3rd place

Dagbjört Lára Bjarkadóttir

Nursing

Who are you and what are the main issues you focus on within your School?

I am 24 years old and am in the third year of nursing. I have sat in an academic committee in the nursing department and from there I have gained very valuable insight into students' issues. I want to work towards creating better study facilities, strengthening the communication between the students and administrators and ensuring that student's perspectives have a weigh on decisions.
